Soccer Game Preview: Randleman vs. Eastern Randolph

Randleman is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Eastern Randolph a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Randleman Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eastern Randolph Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Randleman lost 4-1 to Trinity on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Eastern Randolph fell victim to Providence Grove and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Eastern Randolph can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while Providence Grove are ranked 123rd).

Eastern Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Randleman, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Randleman was able to grind out a solid victory over Eastern Randolph in their previous meeting back in March, winning 3-1. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
