Baseball Game Preview: Palisades Pirates vs. Northwestern Lehigh Tigers

Palisades hasn't had much luck against Northwestern Lehigh recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Pirates will look to defend their home field against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m.

Monday just wasn't the day for Palisades' offense. They came up short against Saucon Valley on Monday, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Pirates have suffered since May 26, 2024.

Palisades saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shane Schuback, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Northwestern Lehigh waltzed into their game on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Falcons.

Northwestern Lehigh let Eli Zimmerman and Cannon Fitch run wild. Zimmerman scored two runs while going 3-for-3, while Fitch scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Palisades' loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Northwestern Lehigh, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
