Basketball Recap: Plain Dealing Takes a Loss

Plain Dealing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 59-19 loss at the hands of the North Webster Knights. The Lions lost against the Knights in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 51-46 score last time.

Plain Dealing's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for North Webster, the win snapped their losing streak at 11 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Plain Dealing won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Haughton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Webster, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Lakeside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Webster is facing Lakeside at the right time seeing as Lakeside is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
