Volleyball Recap: St. Anthony Comes Up Short

St. Anthony saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Buchanan Bears by a score of 2-1. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Buchanan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cole Haroldsen led the charge by getting seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces Haroldsen has posted since back in March. Carlos Jay was another key player, getting four digs and two aces.

St. Anthony's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Buchanan, their victory bumped their record up to 17-13.

St. Anthony didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against St. John Bosco on the 18th. As for Buchanan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Quartz Hill on the 18th.
