Lynnfield is 8-1 against Ipswich since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pioneers will host the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Lynnfield's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Ipswich has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Lynnfield barely beat Triton Regional the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pioneers put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 10-3 victory on Friday. Considering the Pioneers have won three contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Ipswich came up short against Manchester Essex on Thursday and fell 7-4.

Lynnfield picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-3. As for Ipswich, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything went Lynnfield's way against Ipswich in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Lynnfield made off with a 9-1 victory. Will the Pioneers repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
