Soccer Recap: Westmoreland Comes Up Short

Westmoreland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Liberty Creek Wolves, falling 10-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Liberty Creek this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in April.

Westmoreland's loss dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for Liberty Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-2 record this season.

Westmoreland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty Creek, they will challenge White House-Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
