Volleyball Recap: St. Edward Eagles vs. Strongsville Mustangs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Ignatius, St. Edward was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Strongsville Mustangs. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Edward wouldn't go down easily and took Strongsville into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11, 22-25, 22-25, 15-8.

Davion Tan-Nguyen had a dynamite game, getting 21 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave him a new career-high. Siddeeq Sabur also deserves some recognition as he had his first digs of the season.
