Basketball Game Recap: Northside Baptist Christian Lions vs. Pope County Pirates

On Tuesday, Northside Baptist Christian was the victim of a rough 64-43 defeat at the hands of Pope County. Northside Baptist Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pope County had a senior duo take command as Shelby Hogg scored 26 points along with 8 rebounds and Ahry Comer scored 16 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds. Comer is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Walker, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds.

Northside Baptist Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pope County, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
