Basketball Game Preview: Fossil Ridge Panthers vs. Brewer Bears

The Fossil Ridge Panthers will challenge the Brewer Bears at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Fossil Ridge sitting on five straight wins and Brewer on nine.

Fossil Ridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Azle 75-37 on Friday. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Hornets are ranked 919th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Brewer didn't have too much trouble with Chisholm Trail on Friday as they won 47-28.

Brewer is also on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. As for Fossil Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 19-7.
