Volleyball Recap: Orion Finds Playoff Glory Versus Putnam County + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Orion walked away with it. They skirted past the Putnam County Panthers 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Chargers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

In the two sets Orion was on fire: they won each by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-11, 25-10.

Delaney Tapscott had an outrageously good game as she had 20 digs and two assists. Those 20 digs gave her a new career-high.

Orion was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive contests.

Orion's win bumped their record up to 22-15. As for Putnam County, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 19-15-1 record.

Looking ahead, Orion will challenge Brimfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Putnam County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
