Volleyball Recap: Dade County Comes Up Short

Dade County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Model Blue Devils. If the Wolverines were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Caroline Bell paced Dade County's offense, picking up eight kills. Bell got some help from Harper Lynch and her nine assists. Bell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Dade County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Model, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Dade County has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe on the 19th. Model has also already played their next game (against Trion), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
