Baseball Recap: Ribault Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Atlantic Coast, Ribault was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Riverside Generals 14-7. Considering the Trojans have won eight matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Kenny Bibbins, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-3. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Braylin Clarke was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Ribault always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Ribault's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8. As for Riverside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ribault will head out to square off against Westside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverside, they will venture away from home to challenge ED White at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Generals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Commanders have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
