Basketball Game Preview: East Sac County Raiders vs. Ridge View Raptors

The East Sac County Raiders will take on the Ridge View Raptors at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for East Sac County: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Ridge View has snatched up nine consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.

Last Tuesday, East Sac County came up short against South Central Calhoun and fell 56-44.

Meanwhile, Ridge View hadn't done well against Newell-Fonda recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Ridge View took down Newell-Fonda 75-60.

Ridge View's victory bumped their record up to 19-1. As for East Sac County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

East Sac County was able to grind out a solid win over Ridge View in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 52-41. Will East Sac County repeat their success, or does Ridge View have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
