Oblong has gone 7-2 against Dieterich recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will head out to square off against the Movin Maroons at 6:15 p.m. Oblong will be strutting in after a win while Dieterich will be coming in after a defeat.

Oblong took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against Casey-Westfield by a score of 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won six in a row.

Oblong easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Dieterich didn't have quite enough to beat Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City on Thursday and fell 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Movin Maroons in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Dieterich's defeat dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Oblong, their win bumped their record up to 27-7.

Oblong beat Dieterich 2-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
