Destin won against Pensacola Catholic last Friday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Sharks never let the Booker T. Washington Wildcats get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Sharks, who have now won ten contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Keelie Ellis, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Aspen Benscoter was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Destin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Destin is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Booker T. Washington, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Destin will face off against Escambia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Booker T. Washington, they will head out to face off against Pensacola at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
