Volleyball Game Preview: Avon Braves vs. York Golden Knights

The Avon Braves will head out on the road to square off against the York Golden Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Avon turned things around against East Rochester on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bombers.

Meanwhile, York got the win against Keshequa on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The Golden Knights haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Avon back to even at 4-4. As for York, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Everything went Avon's way against York in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Avon made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
