Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Comes Up Short

St. Joseph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lakeshore Lancers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-43 back in December of 2024.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lakeshore, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Joseph will challenge Niles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeshore, they will host Dowagiac at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
