Football Recap: Marist Takes Down Ranked South Eugene

Marist faced South Eugene in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Spartans enjoyed a cozy 25-6 win over the Axe. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Marist's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for South Eugene, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Marist is taking a road trip to square off against Willamette at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for South Eugene, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 26-18 win against Springfield on the 24th.
