Morton/White Pass extended the longest winning streak in 2B Central this week by beating Wahkiakum, 51-6. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Timberwolves.
Morton/White Pass' dynamic duo of Rylon Kolb and Ben Powell proved tough for the Mules to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Kolb threw for 117 yards and three touchdowns and Powell had 53 yards receiving. Gianni Bertucci helped Morton/White Pass' passing attack out by catching two balls for 41 yards.
Kyler Hazen was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 27 carries, he ran for 186 yards as Mossyrock topped Wahkiakum. Teammate Cody Shriver added to the ground attack by rushing for 105 yards.
Morton/White Pass' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Timberwolves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kolb has thrown for 625 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Powell has nine catches for 226 yards. Brian Reynolds leads the league in rushing with 738 yards.
A big matchup in 2B Central this week will be when Napavine takes on the Vikings. As it stands, the Tigers are in fourth, while Mossyrock is in third.
Curtis Spahn's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 71 points on Onalaska. Shaun Stephens threw for 107 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
