Volleyball Recap: Liberty County Beats Walton for Their Third Straight Win

Liberty County entered their tilt with Walton on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Braves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Liberty County was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-15, 25-9.

Liberty County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Allie Roberts, who had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces Roberts has posted over her last eight matches.

Roberts wasn't the only good servers: Liberty County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Walton only served four.

Liberty County's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Walton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Liberty County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Blountstown on the 18th. As for Walton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Bay on the 18th.
