Football Recap: Tech Boston Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Traychon French and Xavier Carter

Friday just wasn't the day for Tech Boston Academy's offense. They took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boston Latin Academy Dragons on Friday. Tech Boston Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Boston Latin Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Tech Boston Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Xavier Carter, who rushed for 96 yards on only 11 carries, and Traychon French, who rushed for 44 yards. French also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble, making one tackle, and defending one pass.

Tech Boston Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Boston Latin Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Tech Boston Academy will venture away from home to square off against Lynn Classical at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Boston Latin Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Minuteman Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Dragons 12, the Minuteman 14.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
