Carson is 9-1 against South Rowan since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Carson Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the South Rowan Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Carson is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.

Bryson Frieze went supernova for South Rowan, rushing for 127 yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance gave Frieze a new career-high in rushing yards. Marshal Faw was another key player, picking up 112 receiving yards and a touchdown.

South Rowan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Zach Barham led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Cameron Barth also set a new season high mark in total tackles with seven.

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for South Rowan, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.
