Soccer Recap: Moline Takes a Loss

Moline saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Saint Viator Lions by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Moline can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 209th, while Saint Viator are ranked 85th).

Moline's goal came courtesy of Mia Murphey, who's now up to three this season.

Moline's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Saint Viator, the victory got them back to even at 7-7-1.

Moline has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Union Grove on the 3rd. As for Saint Viator, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Normal West on the 2nd.
