Penquis Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 58-34 to the Bucksport Golden Bucks.

Penquis Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Bucksport, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
