Basketball Game Preview: Baltic Bulldogs vs. Flandreau Fliers

Baltic hasn't had much luck against Flandreau recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Baltic Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Flandreau Fliers at 6:15 p.m.

Last Thursday, Baltic took a blow against Canton, falling 68-35. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the C-Hawks are ranked 29th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Flandreau). They put the hurt on DeSmet with a sharp 64-41 win on Tuesday. The Fliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Baltic's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Flandreau, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
