Oak Ridge had won four straight at home, but on Saturday they bumped their record up to 31-6 to make it five. They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Maryville Red Rebels. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 16 games by eight runs or more so far this season.

As for Maryville, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-16-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since April 15th.

For Maryville's part, Kaine Baber was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double. Another player making a difference was Trey Carico, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

As of now, neither Oak Ridge nor Maryville have any future games scheduled.
