Volleyball Recap: Plainfield Comes Up Short

Plainfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They came up short against the McCutcheon Mavericks, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-5, 25-15, 25-15.

Plainfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for McCutcheon, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6.

Coming up, Plainfield will venture away from home to square off against Avon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Quakers are facing the Orioles at the right time seeing as the Orioles are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for McCutcheon, they will be taking part in a tournament against Pike at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
