Kali took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Meade River Eagles. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The victory didn't come easy: Meade River scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21.

Meade River is on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Kali and Meade River will both be playing Nunamiut the next time they take the court. The Wolverines will head out to face the Amaguq at 8:55 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
