Gwynn Park came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Bowie Bulldogs by a score of 7-3. For the Yellowjackets, this counts as revenge for the 6-3 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

The team relied heavily on William Butler, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Richard Cambell, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Gwynn Park's victory bumped their record up to 18-1. As for Bowie, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-2.

Coming up, Gwynn Park will square off against Lackey on Saturday. The Chargers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed nine runs per game on average), something the Yellowjackets will no doubt try to take advantage of. Bowie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
