Volleyball Recap: West Point Takes a Loss

West Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Oxford Chargers.

Laklin Shadix paced West Point's offense, picking up six kills. Shadix got some help from Bella Thornton and her ten assists.

West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Oxford, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

West Point wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Montgomery Catholic on the 23rd. As for Oxford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against North Crowley on the 23rd.
