Basketball Recap: Sterling Find Success

Sterling lost to Fletcher two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Sterling Tigers came out on top against the Fletcher Wildcats by a score of 46-34.

The win got Sterling back to even at 8-8. As for Fletcher, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sterling will face off against Chattanooga at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Sterling: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Chattanooga has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road. As for Fletcher, they will take on Indiahoma at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fletcher is facing Indiahoma at the right time seeing as Indiahoma is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
