Volleyball Recap: Gilman Extends Winning Streak to Three

Gilman waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Butternut Midgets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Gilman not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Butternut between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16.

Gilman's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Butternut, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-18 record this season.

Gilman has already played their next matchup (against Flambeau), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Butternut, they are on the road again on Monday to play Solon Springs at 12:00 p.m.
