Football Game Preview: Enterprise Hornets vs. Foothill Cougars + How To Watch

Enterprise hasn't had much luck against Foothill recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Hornets will square off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Enterprise has given up an average of 37.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Enterprise came up short against Pleasant Valley and fell 50-38. The Hornets gained 115 more yards on the day, but it was the Vikings that made the best use of them.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Koby Johnson and Titus Andrus. Andrus had a great game and rushed for 149 yards and five TDs on only 12 carries. Meanwhile, Johnson was balling out in the loss, rushing for 183 yards and three touchdowns.

Even if they lost, Enterprise's defensive line still kept up the pressure with 3.5 sacks. Karter Brooks refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Foothill challenged Chico on Friday. The Cougars were just a hair shy of victory and fell 7-6 to the Panthers. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Foothill didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mason Calvert and Kaden Kitchens.

Foothill now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Enterprise, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Enterprise strolled past Foothill in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a score of 32-13. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
