Volleyball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cabell Midland Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 11-23. As for Cabell Midland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 38-5-1 record this season.

Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cabell Midland, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Huntington on the 25th.
