Softball Recap: Edison's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Edison came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand East Brunswick Vo-Tech an 11-0 shutout. Considering the Eagles have won four contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Edison's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for East Brunswick Vo-Tech, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Edison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 20-6 win against Piscataway on the 14th. As for East Brunswick Vo-Tech, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-1 loss against Middlesex on the 14th.
