 Siloam Springs has been on the road for eight straight, but  on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Gentry Pioneers at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Siloam Springs will be strutting in after a  win while Gentry will be coming in after a  loss.
 Last Tuesday,  it was close, but  Siloam Springs sidestepped Alma for  a  4-3 victory. The  win was just what Siloam Springs needed coming off of  a  14-4 defeat in their prior  match.
  Nolan Wills was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.  Jack O'brien was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Gentry fell victim to Warren and their airtight pitching crew  on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  10-0 to the Lumberjacks, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Gentry just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
 Siloam Springs' victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-7. As for Gentry, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
 Everything went Siloam Springs' way against Gentry when the teams last played  back in February as Siloam Springs made off with  a  12-2 win. Does  Siloam Springs have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gentry turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
