Football Recap: Capitol Hill Takes a Loss

Capitol Hill extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 16 on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-8. They lost 32-6 to the Putnam City West Patriots. The Redwolves were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Putnam City West's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The critical scores for Putnam City West came from Xavier Farrar, Braylen Anderson, Aizjon Robinson, Qomarj Threatt, and Obama Bell.

Coincidentally, Capitol Hill and Putnam City West will both be playing Bartlesville the next time they take the field. The Patriots will host the Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st, while the Redwolves will host them at 7:00 p.m. on November 7.
