Volleyball Recap: Claremore Christian Wins Going Away Against Mingo Valley Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wright Christian, Claremore Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Mingo Valley Christian Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted against the Eagles since October 1, 2020.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Claremore Christian took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-10, 25-15.

Claremore Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mingo Valley Christian, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Claremore Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cookson Hills Christian at 5:30 p.m. on September 11. As for Mingo Valley Christian, they will challenge Destiny Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
