Baseball Recap: Kecoughtan Comes Up Short

Kecoughtan managed to slip by Menchville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors lost 14-3 to the Monarchs on Tuesday. The Warriors' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Kecoughtan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Hampton, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Kecoughtan's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Menchville, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

While Kecoughtan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
