Softball Recap: North East Grape Pickers vs. Cathedral Prep Ramblers

North East can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Cathedral Prep Ramblers as they made off with a 13-4 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Grape Pickers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Sydney Wittman made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Wittman was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025.
