Volleyball Game Preview: Marana Tigers vs. Tucson High Magnet School Badgers

The Marana Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Tucson High Magnet School Badgers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marana will be strutting in after a win while Tucson High Magnet School will be coming in after a loss.

Marana barely beat Sunnyside the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blue Devils on Friday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Tucson High Magnet School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Rincon/University, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Badgers have suffered against the Rangers since April 28, 2022.

Tucson High Magnet School's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Marana, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.

Everything went Marana's way against Tucson High Magnet School in their previous meeting on Tuesday, as Marana made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
