Basketball Recap: Westside Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Westside Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 56-21 loss at the hands of the Kingsway Christian Eagles. Westside Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-7.

Hazel Rogers was Westside Christian Academy's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Ella Formica held things down on the boards with five rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Westside Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kingsway Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Westside Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 29-24 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 7th. As for Kingsway Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Christian Community at 5:30 p.m. on January 27th.
