The home team had come away the winner the last four times St. Catherine and Trinity Episcopal had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Saints blew past the Titans 3-0 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: St. Catherine's took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-13.

Paxton Raymond paced St. Catherine's offense, picking up 16 kills. Raymond got some help from Lila Cross and her 20 assists. Cross was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

With the win, St. Catherine's broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 11-12. As for Trinity Episcopal, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

St. Catherine's has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Norfolk Academy on the 17th. As for Trinity Episcopal, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Richmond Christian on the 17th.
