Basketball Recap: Constantine Comes Up Short

Constantine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 51-21 loss at the hands of the Three Rivers Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 58-48 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Constantine's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Three Rivers, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Constantine won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Black River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Constantine is facing Black River at the right time seeing as Black River is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Three Rivers, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Gull Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering Three Rivers has lost four straight at home and Gull Lake three straight on the road , this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
