Baseball Recap: Marion County Warriors vs. DeKalb County Tigers

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Marion County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the DeKalb County Tigers 6-5. The win was just what Marion County needed coming off of a 10-1 defeat in their prior contest.

Kevin Tipton and Caden McCrary made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Tipton pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits.
