Baseball Recap: Mt. Vernon-Enola Takes a Loss

Mt. Vernon-Enola fell victim to Rose Bud and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Rose Bud Ramblers. The Warhawks just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row dating back to last season.

Mt. Vernon-Enola saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tucker Henry, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Mt. Vernon-Enola's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rose Bud, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Mt. Vernon-Enola will square off against Nemo Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Nemo Vista has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.5 runs per game on average), something Mt. Vernon-Enola will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Rose Bud, they will face off against Beebe at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rose Bud is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11 runs per game this season.
