Volleyball Recap: American Takes a Loss

American lost against Norland back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2. While the Patriots didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Vikings 25-19 in the first set.

American started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 22-25, 25-17, 25-18, 15-13.

American is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9. As for Norland, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.

Looking ahead, American will take on Carol City at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Norland, they will square off against Hialeah-Miami Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
