Central Islip was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 20-3 to the Longwood Lions. On the bright side, the three- run performance marked the Musketeers' highest-scoring game to date.

Yendry Hernandez was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Holley, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 1-for-3.

Central Islip's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Longwood, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

While Central Islip had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
