Baseball Recap: Telstar Wins Going Away Against Buckfield

Telstar barely beat Buckfield the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rebels put the hurt on the Bucks with a sharp 8-1 win on Thursday. Considering the Rebels have won three contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Bryson Walker, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Maceo Bartlett, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple.

Telstar now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Buckfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Telstar will head out to square off against Carrabec at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Buckfield, they will host Rangeley Lakes at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
