Basketball Game Preview: Seton LaSalle Rebels vs. Bishop Canevin Crusaders

The Seton LaSalle Rebels are taking a road trip to challenge the Bishop Canevin Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Canevin took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Seton LaSalle, who comes in off a win.

Seton LaSalle is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Ambridge 81-49. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Rebels with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Bishop Canevin suffered their biggest loss since December 3, 2024 on Monday. They had to suffer through a 79-45 loss at the hands of New Castle. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 245th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 25th).

Seton LaSalle's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Bishop Canevin, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Seton LaSalle was dealt a bruising 72-40 defeat at the hands of Bishop Canevin when the teams last played back in January of 2021. Can Seton LaSalle avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
